Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design at Leeds College of Art

I am a third year student, studying BA(Hons) Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design at Leeds College of Art. I am a colour enthusiast with a passion for drawing.

about the work

My project is based around the fact that interiors fabric and wallpapers often mimic the texture of other fabrics. Historically that has often been imitating most commonly lace amongst other textile textures. In my outcome I wanted to be innovative and therefore my design is based on a drawing of a woven fabric, which has been hand silk-screen printed.
