For our SS18 collection, we have collaborated with five exceptional designers as part of our Design Lab series, each providing their own take on perfect patterns with their upholstery fabrics and complementing home accessories adding further vibrancy, energy and beautiful colour choice to our current collection.

Block pattern with Tamasyn Gambell
Adding blocked patterns to a home can instantly steal your attention when you walk into a room. The dramatic effect can be used to instantly lift the appeal of a room but can easily be incorporated in smaller details, such as scatter cushions, making a statement simply on their own. If you’re ready to go big, an accent chair in a vibrant pattern can liven up any area of the home, whether it’s a living room, bedroom or even a hallway.

Vibrant patterns with Gail Bryson
If you’re faced with wall to wall neutrals and are looking for something to add instant visual appeal, our energetic collaboration with Gail Bryson provides the fabrics to do just this. The decorative patterns and bold colourways provide a vibrant, mood lifting atmosphere to a room with solid colour. Gail’s revitalising fabrics, Trill and Soni, and cushions, Twist and Kantha, use repetitive print patterns to create playful and eye-catching interiors which can be used as big or as small as you require.

Stripes with Zoe Glencross
Traditionally, vertical stripes create a soft look that is classic and beautiful, and Zoe’s Slade Stripe and chevron styled Mottram Meadow fabrics are no exception. Stripes are often considered a good place to start when adding pattern to your home, as they can be used to add interest to your home with ease. If you are using your sofa as a focal point in the room, use subtle accessories to create a cohesive effect that still draws your attention to your marvellous new striped centrepiece, with the look of your room still feeling complete.

Tori’s patterns, which have been inspired by an English garden, provide a versatile way to add layers of texture and colour to your home. These fabrics work well on larger pieces of upholstery or as a full suite in your home.
