by toby on 9 NovemberWe ordered on the Sunday and had the sofa delivered by the Tuesday! very impressed by the service throughout. We love the sofa, visitors all comment on it. Also the Scotchguard insurance looks like a very worthwhile inversment - I didnt realise they would actually come and deal with stains if needed. The only reason for not scoring 5's throughout is that the sofa does lose a few feathers each day from the cushions but otherwise extremely pleased. Thanks

Partial delivery of one sofa then the second with less than 24 hours notice, after confiring delivery for both sofas. This caused extreme inconvenience. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen delay at our fabric mill, we were unable to deliver your sofas to you as quickly as we both would have liked. Situations like this arise extremely rarely and apologies if you feel you weren’t kept totally in the loop. Offering delivery slots with just 24 hours notice is not common practice here at sofa.com but when we saw an available delivery slot in your area, we wanted to offer it to you straight away rather than delaying your delivery any further. We realise that this must have been inconvenient for you and hope that it hasn’t soured your experience with us too much. There was some confusion a couple of times on the delivery dates and time between the initial people that I spoke to and the email confirmations. Though the people that I spoke to very helpful and tried to be as clear as they could. The actual delivery could not have been better regarding letting me know that they were on their way and then going to the effort of getting the sofa through the window to make that it was in my lounge.

by Louise on 8 SeptemberOnly a couple of minor points concerning the Battersea showroom. It is very difficult to locate! There is no clear outside signage and from looking at the outside of the building you wouldn't know you were there. When we finally found the showroom one mid week evening (at about 6pm), cleaners were hoovering so it was difficult to look around freely and talk amongst ourselves with the hoover on full blast! I would have thought that cleaning would take place outside of customer opening hours as it made us feel like we shouldn't be there. Apart from that staff were friendly and helpful and the sofa was delivered without a hitch.

Dear Marie, We are very sorry to hear that the sofa was not quite what you expected or hoped for and that you decided to return in. Basically, as we use completely natural fabrics that are dyed using natural processes, inevitably there will be some degree of colour variation between swatches and the product itself. These are inherent natures of these such fabrics and in fact show the quality of the fabrics we use. We do, of course, try to minimise the difference between swatches and products as much as possible but a small amount of colour difference is simply unavoidable with a number of our fabrics. On the other matter, as you ordered bespoke fibre filled cushions rather than our standard feather wrapped foam fillings, the look and feel of the cushion will always be slightly different. Admittedly, on arrival the cushion fillings did look more well-filled than usual, but this would have settled down over time and evened itself out. Nevertheless, we are very happy to see that you rated our service highly and that the free-returns policy and refund all went smoothly and we hope that you find a sofa that is more suitable in the near future. -
