They arrived on time despite the remote location and lack of postcode due to a recent move, were really friendly, were very concerned that they couldn't take the piece up to the room itself as we hadn't finished building the stairs... It just goes to show that service is absolutely everything. Added to that the product is fabulous and our Christmas guests found the sofabed really comfy for 4 nights, the green velvet looks great, makes a fantastic sofa too, so what more could you ask? If you're in two minds about ordering online without prior knowledge of the product, take the plunge. I recieved a call about 30 mins after placing my order to check the details (despite it being a Saturday). Sofa.com is great and the service couldn't be better... nothing more to say.

by Janet on 27 JulyEverything is very good- the sofa was filled with non-allergenic stuffing rather than feathers- which made it a longer wait- but that was not too bad. I like the fabric- velvet- but it does show imprints very easily I have yet to see how the fabric wears. Also - I think some armcovers would be useful as the fabric will show some wear on the arms. Getting it in was a bit of an issue (I wish the delivery men had told me that the arms came off before they took the door off) but all in all, I am really happy with the sofa and would definitely recommend sofa.com.

by Laura on 28 FebruaryI needed to buy a sofa bed at very short notice which needed to fit in to a very specific space. I searched online and found your site. I called and the assistant (Toby I think) was very helpful, he even went into the store room to measure the position of the legs (I needed it to fit over steps so the measurements needed to be very precise). It was more expensive than I had been looking to spend but the excellent customer service and the quick delivery date sealed it for me. Living in Edinburgh I was also impressed that the delivery time was accurate to within 30 mins and was early. The delivery charge was reasonable considering the distance involved and the delivery guys were really helpful too. All in all I'm delighted.

The only thing for improvement is in service. I was given 2 different prices when phoning up which also differed to what was online. I didn't receive a delivery slot I had to chase for it and when told what it was I was told if I didn't take it then you didn't know when it could be delivered as 'we don't come to North Yorkshire that often'. I explained that with school age children it was impractical to have a time slot that covered pick up time. At the time of your ordering and delivery, as a company we were expanding rapidly and as such took on a large number of new staff in a short space of time. This, combined with the launch of our new website, may be partially responsible for the pricing differences and confusion about delivery slots.
