The only erason I have marked down the fabric slightly is that it is SUCH a luscjious velvet that it does mark a little when you sit on it because the pile is so deep! But my paranoia about every mark has now faded and I think it adds a bit of character :-) The chaise is HUGE and it means you can lie/sit in any position you want and still have masses of space and be comfy. Very handy for surfing the iPad whilst reclining.
The delivery guys were amazing and so polite - the reason I chose Sofa.com is I live in a 1st floor flat and the stairwell is quite narrow (I had to have my last sofa hoisted over the balcony and didn't want to do that with a brand new one!) so the guys put it together in my lounge. As I say, so polite and efficient it was a pleasure. Finally, I should say that when the sofa first arrived I wasn't totally sure I loved it. So I called Sofa.com and said 'I'm not sure I love it! What do I do if I change my mind?' and true to their word on their website they said 'no problem at all just let us know before the 14 days and we will come and collect it'

We think this style works brilliantly in our cotton matt velvet and we’re very glad that you think so too. As velvet is a very delicate fabric it can benefit from a very light steaming, perhaps from a steam iron if you have one (but be careful not to make direct contact with the fabric as this would scorch or melt it!). However, we certainly agree that velvet has character and is definitely a luxurious super-soft fabric that adds that extra bit of comfiness to your sofa. -

The corner sofas (The Stella Chaises) were everything I was picturing in my head.
