Service was great, delivered on our preferred date to the exact time slot and all packaging removed. The staff at the showroom were fantastic; knowledgeable, friendly and relaxed with no pushy sales technique. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend. Only one minor drawback - we live in Manchester and no showroom nearby!

Iggy Three Seat Sofa in Coyote
by Philip on 14 MarchI purchased both the 2 and 3 seater Iggy sofas in Navajo Coyote. I chose the Iggy because of the narrow arms which means they provide a larger sitting area without taking up more space. I was a bit apprehensive about buying without trying, but based my decision on existing feedback, fabric samples, and the ability to return them if not satisfied. One of the best decisions I've made. Although the on-line pictures provide a good overall impression, I would advise obtaining fabric samples as the colours do vary slightly. The delivery was as notified, despite the snow and ice at the time. Thanks to the delivery guys who got them in and set up without any problems. They fit perfectly in the available space and have provided improved comfort from day one. If the comfort increases as they settle in, then that will be a bonus. An overall pleasurable experience. In addition, I would like to add that these sofas are just so much nicer (in style, build quality, fabric design) than anything I found in the local chain 'sofa' shops.

Already we have had feathers poking out of the velvet fabric seat cushions and I'm worried even though we paid extra for fabric protection the slightest spill will show.
I would appreciate a response and maybe advice on care for the fabric.

Dear Beverly. Thank you so much for your comments. It is normal for the cushion pads to lose a few feathers at first but this should settle down quite quickly. Please let us know if this problem persists. Velvets are very luxurious but relatively sensitive, so we recommend the utmost care when looking after these fabrics. A characteristic of velvet is the distinct pile that produces the amazing sparkle visible on these fabrics. With time, this pile will show signs of use particularly on the silky velvet producing a ‘crushed’ effect which is very usual for velvet and part of its natural beauty. Velvet is sensitive to liquids so to avoid unduly disturbing the pile we strongly advise against using any liquid to clean this fabric, however tempting this may be (this includes damp cloths etc). If you are unfortunate enough to suffer a little splodge then simply absorb any liquid with a dry cloth and call Guardsman who will be able to help you. Again, many thanks for your feedback. -
