I'm really pleased with my new sofa. I was a bit nervous buying such a large item unseen, but it was fine.

I loved the comfy pack. The picture and fabric sample sat on the floor in lieu of the sofa while I waited for it to be delivered.

I was away for the first available delivery date, and did have to call a couple of times to get a new date, but that aside the process was smooth and pleasant.

Your delivery guys were polite and helpful, phoned to let me know their ETA. Put the sofa in it's correct position, and took all the packaging away.

Thanks for your email. I have to say that we are absolutely thrilled with our sofas and am happy to give you feedback on our experience.

Firstly, the items themselves: We bought two Carricks in teal (one two-seater and one three seater) and they are even nicer than we thought they'd be. They look fabulous as well as being lovely and deep and super-comfortable. And because the seat cushions are so well padded, they retain their shape really well (we have two small boys so they take a good bashing day-to-day!). Also it goes without saying that, having shopped around, yours are definitely the best value sofas we found (by a long way) and you don't compromise on quality to offer such good value either which is a bonus.

Secondly the ordering service: faultless really. It was as simple as anything to order online. We were reassured by your emails confirming the order and couldn't believe that we were going to get them delivered within four weeks! The soonest we'd been offered anywhere else was 8-12 weeks minimum so top marks there.

Finally the delivery: You said in your email that the sofas would be delivered by 1pm on the day, and that we should allow an hour either side to account for traffic etc. Well I received a phonecall at 12.45 saying they were half an hour away (very courteous I thought) and true to their word, they arrived at 1.15pm on the dot. You really can't say fairer than that. The two delivery guys were lovely, very polite and helpful and they even took all the rubbish away afterwards.

In all, our experience with Sofa.com was excellent and I haven't stopped recommending you to all my friends. We will definitely use you again.

The whole experience from looking at the website, originally about 2 years ago, to obtaining my first swatches, to my second set of swatches, to making my choice, ordering and then taking delivery of the sofa, it was all totally pain-free, very easy to do, a fantastic website which made the whole concept of ordering a sofa online so manageable. I had to ask a friend if she would actually take delivery as I was at work, not expecting the order to be completed so quickly, and she was most impressed by her experience, the drivers ringing to inform her of their ETA, the efficent way the sofa was put in place, even the detail of plumping up the cushions before they left!

My sofa is fabulous and fantastically comfortable. It is a duck egg bluebell 2 seater. If anything has caused me a problem, it's that it has made the rest of my decor look v. average.

When it arrived is was extremely well packed and when unwrapped it was like a whole new presence had taken up residence, it almost deserves a name.

The only tiny complaint is that I asked for a reference number to be attached to it as I had to have a company transfer it from a mainland depot to the Isle of Wight and there was no number on it, so they had to guess it was for me. That was a bit of a worry, but the staff on the phone were very pleasant. Oh and I couldn't get the long screws to go into the back legs - they seemed too long, so I left them off.

Altogether though seems very well made.

Yes, the sofa arrived pretty much bang on time. We weren't sure about buying a sofa over the internet to begin with. So we took you up on the swatch samples, which came through very quickly. This was a great help in pushing us towards a decision. Also the fact that all the dimensions are so ready to hand, we could compare against our existing sofa, this meant we could make a much clearer decision between the two seater and the three seater. It was a bit of a surprise when the price of the sofa rose by about a third, when the fabric and delivery were added in, but we were committed to buying the sofa already and it was still a good price. I think a bit higher visibility on pricing the extras there would mean it's less of a shock when you get to the final payment.

All in all the website experience is very reassuring - good visuals of all the sofas in different colours and when backed up with a quick sample, we followed through with the purchase. After the purchase sofa.com were in touch very quickly arranging delivery dates and taking sizes for the freebee slippers. Great service from start to finish.

It looks great, so much so that we are not using it that much at the moment. We are still using the old Habitat sofa and the kids are making the most of the Snowdrop, stretching out on it - absolutely no food allowed on it though. It is really comfy and I like the low arms on either side (when I do have a shot on it). We have just finished knocking two rooms into one and the sofa sits where the wall used to be. The floors and walls have just been redone and the sofa just finishes the room off perfectly.

We love our new sofa - we looked for ages before deciding on this one and we are really happy with it. The only disappointment was the way the protective spray costing £55 was sold to us. The person read a list out of all the things the spray and guarantee would protect us against - but failed to mention that water, of all things, wasn't on the list. I was surprised not to receive an care instructions and rang the day after our sofa arrived to enquire and was only then told about the water thing. I was worried about my 3 year old walking round with marmite fingers and would have run to get a damp cloth should she have got any on the sofa. Surely 100% of other customers would do this too - it's the first thing anyone would do. I was told then I wouldn't have been covered and that I should just leave the stain and call someone out. No damp cloths. All these simple but very important instructions should have been explained when I purchased the protective spray deal. But thanks, lovely sofa.

Sadly I returned the two Lola sofas I'd ordered. Loved the fabric, but the sofas simply weren't comfortable for average sized people in normal sitting position. Depth is far too great - sofa is comfortable when one kick's off shoes and snuggles at the back, but a visiting vicar just wouldn't feel so inclined! I've ordered two Daisy sofas and hope that they suit. They certainly look elegant, but a member of your staff said they weren't the most comfortable. My fingers are crossed!

We're really pleased with both our sofas. We had bespoke fabrics for both of them and thought your range of fabric options was brilliant.

The turn around time (from placing the order to delivery) is super quick in comparison to other places which was much appreciated - when you're waiting for a sofa, even just another week seems like an age!

Although one of the sofas was marked when it arrived, your delivery guys had a steamer with them and they managed to get the marks out there and then which was good.

It was also easy to contact sofa.com by telephone or email at any time which was helpful and your late night opening hours are great - much better to look at sofas on a weeknight after work than having to spend your weekend doing it!
