We love to champion new designers, and this year we are thrilled with our latest Design Lab collaboration with British printmakers Thornback and Peel, which we have just launched. The fab Jethou armchair in Jelly and Cake and the Sunday armchair in Raspberry is making quite the impression, featuring in the weekend’s Sunday Times Style magazine.
With the excitement of Christmas Festivities already underway, we've decided to extend our showroom opening times; every Thursday we’ll be open until 9pm through till Christmas! This will give you comfy-goers out there the chance to
pop by after work maybe, and once you get here there’ll be no rush to leave!
We’re on the hunt for Britain’s most exciting up-and-coming designers, to design a new fabric for us, which will join our exclusive range of designer fabrics. A sofa is nothing without a gorgeous fabric to upholster it in, and we’re looking to the next generation of inspiring designers to come
up with something innovative, original and striking that our customers would be queuing round the block for!
In light of the launch of our latest Design Lab collaboration with British printmakers Thornback and Peel, we thought we’d ask the designer’s themselves, Delia and Juliet, a bit about their design
inspiration; their place of work; and the question on all our lips; which do they prefer – dogs or cats?!
Big news from the sofa.com camp: we've teamed up with British printmakers, Thornback & Peel to produce a series of fantastic fabrics in five exclusive colours. Each one features the design duo's signature quirky motifs and intricate print
details: ordered rows of extravagant and brightly-coloured jellies and cakes, and playful grey rabbits scampering through a field of cabbages. We love them!
If you’re new to us, then you might be interested to know that we LOVE dogs! They are, after all, man’s best friend. They've proved to be quite the posers on our photo-shoots, even stealing the limelight some might say. Talking of dogs, a blog that is providing us with lots of
entertainment at the moment is Dog Milk. Founded by Jamie Derringer, Dog Milk is inspired by her love of dogs, and keeps other dog lovers up to date with the latest in pet design that fits their unique sense of style.
Our new leathers were launched earlier this year, and joined Chocolate and Matt Black in our house range. The new Antique, Rodeo and Devon leathers have fitted into our collection a treat and with the arrival of our new season showroom, there are now a couple of special items in our Chelsea Showroom upholstered in these new delicious leathers.
If you’re planning on paying our Chelsea Showroom in the UK a visit sometime soon, then you’ll find that we’ve had a make-over and we have bought in a whole new lot of sofas, armchairs, beds and footstools. This seasonal face-lift is by way of keeping things interesting, introducing our newest products and fabrics, and giving you folks more ideas on how to customise your very own sofa.com piece!
